Our Guild meets at the Greenwood United Methodist Church which is located at 525 N. Madison Ave., Greenwood, Indiana 46142, and our April meeting will start promptly at 7PM, but if you would like to join us at 6:30PM to do some hand sewing and chat, we will welcome you. You are welcome to attend two meetings before you join our Guild!

This month’s speaker is from ICAN (Indiana Canine Assistance Network) and they will be talking about their accredited service dog training and placement program which help children and adults overcome challenges and break barriers.

You may be asking yourself why the Quilt Connection Guild would host such a speaker, and I will tell you why. Our guild is sponsoring a silent auction during our next quilt show and all funds raised by the quilts that are donated for the silent auction will go to ICAN. If you would like to donate a small wall quilt (no larger than 30 x 30 inches) to this project, we would love to include it as part of the auction. During the quilt show we will also accept monetary donations for ICAN and/or cotton, upholstery, or pre-quilted fabric donations so prisoners can make dog beds and accessories for the ICAN dogs.

The Quilt Connection Guild’s Show will be held on…June 10th (FRI) 10AM-4PM and June 11th (SAT) 10AM-3PM at the Greenwood United Methodist Church. There will be many unique quilts and handmade items on display, popular vendors from our area will display items for sale, and refreshments will be available for purchase.
