The President’s Block for Ann Ward.

It is based on a block from Modern Monday.  It is a wonky 6″ finished square.  The Modern Monday site:  http://www.42quilts.com/2011/09/modern-monday-block-1.html shows directions for the quilt.  At the top it is assuming that you are making an entire quilt.  Scroll down for directions on how to make the square.

However, all you need is some white fabric for the background and bright rainbow colors batiks for the “X”.   The white fabric replaces the gray and the batik replaces the orange.
