Jeanette Bagley is going to take us through a tutorial on how to make Prairie Points and show us examples of new and interesting ways that she uses Prairie Points in her quilts. Join us at 6:30PM for a sew along and/or at 7:00PM for the actual start of the meeting. To join our guild and to receive an invitation to our next ZOOM meeting, contact Sheryl Otter at sherylotter@comcast.net. For a definition of what a Prairie Point is…see the following info that I found on the world wide web…
What are Prairie points? Prairie points are folded squares of fabric that add an interesting texture to a project and can be made using any fabric. They look great along borders and even in the body of wall hangings and fabric baskets. They add color and a third dimension to your quilting. Most prairie points are small and are perfect scrap busters.
I hope to see you all on our Thursday Zoom meeting!
